Alternative energy sources are forward-looking. Besides wind and solar energy, energy production from biomass has taken a big place among the renewable energies.Bioenergy is obtained from biological waste, plant and animal matter, as well as from renewable raw materials. Biomass is used, for instance, for fuels and for heat/electricity generation.

Currently, about 9,300 biogas plants are operated in Germany and the number is expected to increase in the future. For the control of the production process and quality of the biogas, the monitoring of carbon dioxide, methane, oxygen and hydrogen sulphide, among others, is important.

PROCESS MONITORING INSTRUMENTS

BioBasic

The BioBasic represents the current state-of-the-art technology in online biogas measurement. With the help of the BioBasic you can control your biogas plant more efficiently in order to keep the yield and the profitability of your plant at a constantly high level. Methane and carbon dioxide are measured by means of the patented dual pressure method to ensure high accuracy of the measured values even under adverse conditions. Regular recalibration of the analyzer is not necessary and you save expensive test gas.

In addition, hydrogen sulphide and oxygen are measured against the background of plant protection. In case of an analyzer malfunction, your plant is protected by the use of flame arresters. High humidity in your biogas is no problem due to the integrated condensate separator. Due to the integrated sample gas pump you do not need any further plant infrastructure except for the sample gas extraction point.

Smart BioBasic

The Smart BioBasic is a further development of the technological market leader in the biogas analysis segment and is the ideal analyzer for your simple biogas applications. The measuring optics of the system have been miniaturized and at the same time the hydrogen sulfide and oxygen measurement has been integrated into an exchangeable block, so that you can take over the annual service yourself. The market-leading long-term stability of the analyzer has been retained, as well as the integrated sample gas pump, the simple operation via touch display and the connection via all common data interfaces.

Biomethane Analyzer

The Biomethane Analyzer is a further development of the technological market leader in biogas analysis, which is adapted to the special requirements of biomethane measurement. Here, the calibration is designed for the precise measurement of methane concentrations of more than 80 % by volume.

The patented dual-pressure method ensures a high accuracy of the measured values even under adverse conditions. Regular recalibration of the analyzer is not necessary and you save expensive test gas.

In case of analyzer failure, your system is protected by the use of flame arresters. Due to the integrated sample gas pump you do not need any further plant infrastructure except for the sample gas sampling point.

Gas Analyzer Portable (GAP) 100

With the Gas Analyzer Portable 100, the proven technology of the BioBasic has been miniaturized and optimized for portable applications. Thus, we offer a fully-fledged gas analyzer as a portable device for application in the field, e.g. for remediation work, for the investigation of contaminated sites, for the selective measurement of bio- or landfill gases, or for fault diagnosis. Data is stored internally and can be downloaded later for centralized evaluation. The integrated rechargeable battery allows an operating time of up to 8 hours between charging cycles.

Biomethane TDLAS

The new Gas Analyzer Biomethane has been specially developed for measuring high methane concentrations as found in biomethane and natural gas. The new TDLAS technology achieves fast and accurate measurement results even at high methane concentrations and is immune to cross-sensitivities. This enables its use in a wide range of processes.
