Founded over 30 years ago as Fresenius Umwelttechnik GmbH, we can now look back on 175 years of com­pa­ny histo­ry and expe­ri­ence in che­mi­cal ana­ly­sis and ser­vices as a fami­ly busi­ness and for­mer sub­si­dia­ry of the Fresenius Institute.

She com­pa­ny Fresenius Umwelttechnik has its ori­g­ins in the che­mi­cal labo­ra­to­ry foun­ded by Carl Remigius Fresenius in 1848, which has been an inte­gral part of the che­mi­cal indus­try ever sin­ce.
