Who we are
What it means to work with us
The roots of Fresenius Umwelttechnik GmbH go back to 1848, when Carl Remigius Fresenius founded the Fresenius chemical laboratory. Building on this history, we responded early to growing demands in environmental and contaminated-site work as early as 1989 with our own technical solutions for sampling and process gas measurement. In 1992 this became the independent company, which has since developed, produced and sold measuring systems for emission and immission control and for industrial process measurement worldwide.
From engineering to technology – our mission
Today we are at a turning point: we are developing from a classic device manufacturer into a modern high-tech company – with smart sensors, AI-based data analysis, cloud platforms and forward-looking environmental technology, for a world that should become cleaner, safer and smarter.
Shape this change with us
For this change we are looking for people who want more than a job – with ideas, curiosity and the will to make a difference. Whether in marketing, engineering or sales: with us you find not just a company with history but, above all, a future you can help shape.
How we work
What to expect with us
- Results before remits When a device is installed at a customer, what counts is that it measures – not whose department the problem belongs to. That is why development, production, lab and service share one roof.
- Ideas end up in the product Tory, our digital colleague, was created in-house. Anyone who sees a better solution builds it.
- Responsibility grows with results Length of service does not decide who gets more responsibility here – what someone achieves does.
- Today's tools AI training for everyone, our own software and modern measuring and test stations – we try new things and keep what helps.
- Flexible when it matters Flexible structures and working hours – and when a customer is waiting, everyone pitches in.
- Work with impact Our devices measure methane, nitrous oxide and emissions. What you can measure, you can reduce.
